Cassie Boyd Baker

Taylor University alumnus, Cassie Boyd Baker, is a voice over talent for commercials, animation, audiobook, and e-learning. While working in professional theatre in NYC, Cassie decided to explore the world of voice over and fell in love with it, finding it was a custom fit for how she was created. A move to Los Angeles, the heart of the animation voice market, soon followed where she continues to reside with her husband and their black Labrador retriever. Select credits include commercials for Apple, McDonalds, JCPenny, Jersey Mikes, Peet’s Coffee, UPS, and more; and animated projects for Nickelodeon, PBS, CBS Kids, Focus on the Family, Insomniac Games, among many others. Cassie is also delighted to be working with the students in Taylor’s Hollywood Internship Program this semester!

 

 

Jack Lugar

Jack Lugar

Jack Lugar grew up in Indianapolis. After completing his undergranduate degree in communication from Taylor University and his master’s degree in Media Management from Regent University, he went to Los Angeles and worked in production and eventually as a sitcom writer and member of the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA). Jack’s writing credits include the TV series Life With Louie starring Louie Anderson and Wanda at Large starring Wanda Sykes. Jack is the author of the humor book The Starving Artist’s Diet, the short script Used now available on Amazon, and is the creator of TheSitcomLab.com, a “one-stop shop for everything sitcom.” Jack eventually chose to come back home to Indiana to raise his family. He graduated from Indiana University’s School of Law and recently ran a grassroots campaign for Congress in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District where he advocated raising up a new generation of leaders. He and his wife of 20 years, Elisabeth, have three children.

 

 

Clay Stahlka

Clay Stahlka

Clay Stahlka was born into the world of production. His mother was in live television and brought him to her studio in a baby carriage. After earning a degree in electrical engineering and business administration at Denver University, Clay spent some time as a musician, playing keyboards and traveling in rock bands. Eventually he went into radio, then television, and later film. He has experience with live and commercial production, independent film and major features including The Natural, starring Robert Redford and Days of Thunder, starring Tom Cruise. Many of Clay’s years in audio were spent in network television including NHL, NFL, MLB and NASCAR broadcasts. After marrying his wife, a Floridian, the two moved to Indiana where Clay was employed by Sweetwater Sound. Clay now designs audio systems and is the “on-call audio guy” when A&E and Discovery networks come to Indiana to shoot news packages. Clay also has extensive experience with lighting, gripping and rigging.
